Our wonderful Señora Fonseca has been buzzing around our school spreading her love of the Spanish language and culture. From VPK to 8th grade, students learn vocabulary, conversational language skills, Latin American history, prayers, culture, and more. Sra Fonseca works with our classroom teachers to bring in content from other subject areas into her Spanish lessons. Readiness Scores Are In!
The results are in! OLL’s VPK students received the highest possible scores! Every year the students graduating from the VPK program are tested upon entrance into Kindergarten. There are over 50 skills that must be observed and evaluated. The testing is done partially at OLL and partially off site at a public school. The test is anonymously scored by the VPK evaluation team. The highest possible score a school and its students can receive is 200 points. This year’s class had a perfect score of 200!
