Advent Happenings

In order to fully enter into the season of Advent, each of our ten classes have found their own unique ways to welcome Christ into their hearts.  From art projects to service projects, the students of Our Lady of Lourdes are actively participating in the deepening of their faith.  Due to our vacation schedule, we will begin our celebration of the Christmas season this coming Monday, and our students will tell you that they are certainly prepared to celebrate the birth of the King! Today we celebrate the feast of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Mary holds a special place as the Mother of our Savior and the Mother of our Church, but also the patroness of our school and parish community.
