Generous Hearts

Surprise Visitor

Earlier this month, our parish community prayerfully remembered the tragic events of September 11, 2001. In fourth grade, Mrs. Clasen’s class watched a Scholastic video from the perspective of an elementary school student in New York City on 9/11.  The class discussed how this national tragedy stunned the world, but also affirmed our sense of togetherness as a nation.  Students learned about the virtue of patriotism and why so many are proud to call themselves citizens of the United States of America.
