Grandparents Day is a staple of OLL Catholic Schools Week Events. For years, grandparents have enjoyed spending the day with their loved ones at Our Lady of Lourdes, beginning with our School-led Mass, followed by breakfast, a reception in the Conmy Center, and finally a tour of the school and fun games in the classrooms. We are so thankful for all of the Grandparents who joined us for this special occasion! Growing Up at OLL
Yesterday, our pre-Kindergarten students joined the rest of the student body at our Thursday School Mass for the very first time. Clinging tight to the hands of their 7th Grade “Buddies,” our littlest students tiptoed into the church and took their places in the right hand pews. People debate the appropriateness of the phrase, “In God We Trust” on our currency, and folks think twice before singing “God Bless America” before sporting events. During this tumultuous time, we as Catholics can grow even stronger in our love for God and for our country. How blessed are we to live More...
