At our weekly School Mass on Thursday, Father Gary reminded us of the importance of community. He began by asking how many of our students watched the recent Summer Olympic Games, to which the congregation replied in a resounding “yes!” The Olympics, Father reminded us, are a special time of community in which athletes from 220 nations gather together to compete, proudly representing their individual nation. Welcome Back!
The cafeteria buzzed with excitement early Monday morning as students stepped onto campus for the first day of a brand new school year. With new backpacks and new shoes, students filed through the school doors to meet old friends and find many new faces, 59 new faces to be exact. Congratulations, Graduates!
Each year, the graduating class of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School collaborates to draft their “thank you letter” encompassing their thoughts and emotions surrounding graduation.
