How did OLL use the money from the 2010 Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of all OLL fundraising efforts. It calls those who are vital to a school community – council members, faculty, staff, parents, grandparents, parishioners, and community supporters – to support its efforts. Here at OLL, our 2010-2011 Annual Fund demonstrated the widespread faith in the mission of this learning community. Our benefactors gave 117 pledges, totaling $13,950 towards furthering the mission of Our Lady of Lourdes School.
These funds were distributed among three different initiatives here at OLL. The majority of the funds, $9,500 went towards tuition assistance to help ten different families remain in our school. Additionally, $3,000 were used for facilities and technological advancements, including new classroom computers and teacher laptops. Finally, $1,450 helped fund student programs and faculty development.
