A Note from our Chairs
Dear Our Lady of Lourdes Community,
Welcome to another exciting school year at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School!
This time of year is a great chance to reflect on the many blessings that our children receive as members of our OLL school and parish community. Throughout the nearly 50 years of existence, our school has provided an exceptional learning environment rooted in Catholic tradition. The success of our school has been enabled, in large part, by your direct participation in the events and campaigns that financially support the school. As an example, during the inaugural year of the OLL Annual Fund last year (2010-2011), there were a total of 117 gifts resulting in more than $13,900. What a fantastic result for our first year! These funds directly contributed to budgeted items such as tuition assistance, faculty/curriculum development, and capital improvements.
Building on the success of our first year, it is important that we continue to make the OLL Annual Fund an integral component to the overall success of our school. This year, the Annual Fund has two goals: (1) A financial goal of $20,000, achieved by (2) a drastic increase in participation. We are already off to a great start. Our leadership councils, including School Advisory Council; Home and School Association; parish Finance Council; as well as the faculty and staff of the school and parish are being addressed by the Annual Fund Committee and their full participation is anticipated.
The best way to show your support of our school is to participate. The Annual Fund invites you to show your support with a gift that is meaningful to you. All gifts are appreciated and definitely make a difference in the long-term growth of our school. It is easy to make a gift or pledge. You can download a copy of the pledge form from the “Participating in the Annual Fund” subtab, complete it and return it to the school.
