In 1979, Ms. Schaibly was chosen as the National High School Coach of the Year for Softball, and was the first woman to ever receive that title. She began teaching at OLL in 1986 because she wanted to be closer to her two beautiful sons who were born in 1982 and 1983. She is presently in her 26th year of teaching here.
