“Magis” is a Latin word meaning ‘more.’ The Catholic definition for this word involves “continuous quality improvement,” developing the gifts and passions our God has given us to best fulfill His ministry on earth.
At Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, our philosophy involves educating the whole child, mind, body, and soul. Our Magis program consists of a series of initiatives to extend traditional classroom learning into something that facilitates a heightened global awareness and preparedness for a constantly evolving society.
